With fifty issues under our belts, we’re now hard at work on the next fifty. For fun, we made issue #51 our “Lost Theme” issue, asking contributors to send in anything at all they found lying around, “even the kitchen sink.” With articles from nine contributors, plus some filler pages from two others, it covers a lot of HERO ground.
We’re now up to date on our website’s Cover Caption Contest, so the cover for this issue will go up for captioning next. You can win this issue by submitting a winning caption for the cover anytime in the next few months. Since we had such fun ones for issue #50, we chose two runners-up. Give us the same creativity, and we just might do it again! (Please note that you can enter more than once, as long as each caption is both original and entertaining.)
Submissions for our next issue (#52: Through the Looking Glass) are due June 5, 2010. Contributors should be able to download the completed issue within two weeks of that due date (assuming we stick somewhat close to our submission deadline).
